Town Vets is an experienced, community-focused veterinary practice where your pet benefits from continuity of care—seeing the same vet or nurse at each visit. Led by Dr Elizabeth Molyneux (BVMS, MRCVS, PhD), our team provides compassionate, tailored treatment for cats, dogs, birds, reptiles, and small mammals. Since 2011, we’ve been proud to support pet owners with professional expertise and a personal touch in Southport.

I took over ownership of Town Vets in 2011 after working here for 13 years. When not at work I enjoy running round with the kids going to horse competitions.

Originally from Southport, I have spent the last 10 years as a small animal vet, working in practice in the West Midlands. I have developed a keen interest in cardiovascular and respiratory medicine and obtained a post-graduate certificate in cardiology, through the University of Liverpool, in 2022.
After a short time off, to have my baby boy, I am now excited to return to practice at Town Vets and look forward to meeting all your four legged best friends!

I joined the team in June 2021 and I qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in May 2024. I have two dogs called Sandy and Bruce and also a cat called Jon. I am able to speak Russian and Latvian

I joined the team in October 2018 and I am a Veterinary Care Assistant here at Town Vets. I have two dogs called Daisy and Millie. I enjoy getting to know patients during K-laser sessions. Outside of work I enjoy walking my dogs and watching football.

I joined the team in August 2021 and qualified as an RVN in May 2024. I enjoy getting to know all our patients and have a keen interest in physiotherapy. Outside of work, I am quite active and enjoy going to the gym and going on long hikes with Dexter, my Dalmatian.

I graduated from Liverpool University in 1997 and I joined Town Vets in 2024. I enjoy all aspects of veterinary work but especially surgical cases. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with Izzy, my Jack Russell Terrier, exploring new places and visiting friends and family.

I joined Town Vets in 2022 and qualified as an RVN in May 2024. I enjoy cytology and am keen to further my knowledge and skills in this area. Outside of work I enjoy going camping and going for long walks with Roo, my German Shorthaired Pointer and Poppy, my Labrador.

After undertaking work experience at Town Vets last year, I joined the team in September 2025 to begin my Veterinary Nursing training . I enjoy getting to know our patients and their owners, and I have a keen interest in surgical procedures and emergency cases. Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and friends and taking my dog, Marvin, for long walks in the countryside.
